When they get there, they are overwhelmed by the beauty and power of the Red Rocks. At the end of their day there, they all agree that there is no way to describe Sedona to their friends, except telling them they have to go there to visit! Many of them say they will definitely come back to spend more time and get the "Gift of Sedona".

What is the "Gift of Sedona"?

Sedona is so much more than just the most beautiful city in the United States (Voted by USA Today). Sedona is Merlin Country (you know, Merlin, the magician from King Arthur/Camelot tale). Sedona is magic-country, fairyland! If you look in a certain way, you can see the fairies and the ‘little people’ between the branches of the trees, under the trees, between the Manzanita bushes! They are all over ... everywhere!

Everything is at peace in Sedona! Everything is alive in Sedona! Everything vibrates with life-force in Sedona!

Many people don’t realize that Native Americans never lived in Sedona (even though their presence is so strong there!). Native Americans considered Sedona to be Sacred Land (hence the name of our other company, Sacred Land Tours). Sedona was sacred, ceremonial land for them. They came to Sedona to do their ceremonies, prayers, healings and then ... they left. They stayed in Sedona a week, a month, 6 months, a year, 2 years ... but they never settled in Sedona. Centuries after they left, we realized why they never settled in Sedona and why Sedona was a ceremonial, sacred land for them. We discovered the “Vortexes” - energy centers associated with the electro-magnetic fields of our world and the red-dirt of Sedona.

Now, over 65% of the visitors to Sedona are people seeking transformation, spiritual, mental, emotional, physical healings, holistic treatments, yoga and so much more.

It is safe in Sedona: There is almost no crime in Sedona. People take a deep sigh when they hear this. They long for such a reality!

It is peaceful in Sedona: It is comfortable to live here. We have no extremes in Sedona ... we have no extreme weather, no tornadoes, no devastating fires, no mud slides, no drizzle rains for days, no grey skies, no snow shoveling for months, no heat waves, no catastrophes.

Life is mellow and easy here. The summer temperatures never go up to 100°F ... at night it cools down to the 70°s, where you need a blanket to sleep. We have snow in the winter – but it is the ‘beautiful’ snow! A thin layer of snow on the red rocks and the trees that disappears by 10:00 AM. You see people running around taking pictures in the mornings of this absolutely breathtaking sight – all red rocks and trees, bushes, cactuses covered with a picturesque layer of snow. During the day in the winters, the temperature goes up to 50°s with clear, absolutely the clearest blue skies – a perfect weather for hikes and being outdoors, lying on the red rocks and the red earth, feeling the warmth of the gentle winter sun soothing your bones and body!

And, the nights! Oh, the Sedona nights! Most people don’t know, but we have very little street lighting in Sedona ... to prevent light pollution. When you walk around at night, you see millions of stars. It is like a blanket of billions of diamonds and pure white crystals covering your body! We go “out on the land” at night to watch the stars. We put a blanket on the red dirt and just watch the stars. The weather is always mellow (except to December-February when the temperatures go down to the teens). There is the silence in the air! You hear the deep, eternal silence filled with an intense vibration of aliveness.

So, you just ARE! There! At awe ... breathless.

“It” is so vast, huge, endless, peaceful and quiet that you are afraid to breathe. You feel “It” vibrating, and you know you are a part of “It”. You can feel everything and everybody at those moments – all your ancestors, your past, present, future is all there. At this moment! They all merge! You are at one with the All There Is – all the past, present, and future. Nothing exists, no worries – everything is just fine. You know you are just fine as you are, at this moment. You just ARE – safe, comfortable, at peace and at joy!

Sedona is the biggest kindergarten for your Inner Child to come through and play, and have fun. Careless, easy going, simple and true.
